The freedom to choose your supplier
If you need small customizations or solutions that you can’t get as apps, you can use extensions. Extensions are programmed additions of the functionality you need.
Extensions do not interfere with the core of Business Central. This means that they do not cause problems when you need to continuously update your Business Central.
At the same time, you are not tied to a supplier just because they have developed the customization for you.
