The Case module gathers all data about cases, projects, planning lines and resource allocations in a hierarchical structure. This means that all data can be collected and presented to you in a clear and familiar way: both as a project plan in a Gantt chart and a resource Gantt chart.
Transparency in all project and resource-related data is essential for understanding your project plan and resource situation. With Visual Job Scheduler, you get a quick overview of dependencies, schedule conflicts and other challenges that affect your cases and projects.
With a full understanding and overview of the schedule, you can manage your cases and projects and take corrective actions along the way. Visual Jobs Scheduler allows you to easily adjust the schedule using the drag & drop function. This applies to the timing of tasks, schedule lines, their duration, resource allocation, etc.
Schedule cases, projects, tasks, schedule lines and resources visually with the intuitive drag & drop feature. Visual Job Scheduler supports both horizontal movements (i.e. changing start and end dates) and vertical changes (i.e. changing resource allocation). Similarly, you can easily implement and visualize task dependencies.
Visual Job Viewer offers plenty of options that make navigating the scheduling board easy: With simple mouse clicks or mouse “wheels” you can quickly navigate to specific times or periods, zoom in on areas and then easily return to the starting point.
In Visual Job Scheduler, you have lists of your resources (in the job view) and a list of all your cases/projects, schedule lines and tasks (in the resource view). This makes it easy for you to assign a resource to a task, or a task to a resource, by dragging it from the list to the diagram.
Visual Jobs Scheduler is not just an interactive Gantt chart as you might know it from other project management tools. Visual Jobs Scheduler also gives you an overview of the respective resource utilization. If moving a task results in an overload, you get an immediate visual warning so you can react. It all happens in real time.
Visual Job Scheduler fully integrates with Business Central, with a direct connection to the database. The integration means you can continue working in the user interface you are familiar with. At the same time, you get quick shortcuts from Visual Job Scheduler to Business Central – and vice versa.
